Every year we invite young chefs from Gateshead College to apply to join 21 Hospitality on our Traineeship programme.
Following completion of their Level 2 Professional Cookery Qualification, outstanding candidates are put forward by Gateshead College to interview for a position on the 21 Hospitality Group Traineeship.
The 12 month programme begins with 3 months in the group’s flagship kitchen, 21. This allows trainee chefs to establish key fundamentals before being afforded the opportunity to tour the group’s other restaurant kitchens, developing their skills across a broad range of cookery and preparation styles.
Trainee chefs are supported throughout by Gateshead College where they spend 1 day per week further developing their skills.
